Bio: David A. Eichenbaum, MD, FASRS, is director of research at Retina Vitreous Associates of Florida and collaborative associate professor at Morsani College of Medicine, University of South Florida, in Tampa, Florida. He is a retina specialist whose clinical trial work focuses on common retinal diseases including dry and wet age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and retinal vascular disease. Dr. Eichenbaum has been a clinical trial investigator for 16 years and has participated in more than 90 trials. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Retina Specialists and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, immediate past president and board member of the Florida Society of Ophthalmology, and past president of the Tampa Bay Ophthalmic Society.
